When we meet with clients for basement or garage organization, one of our main goals is simple — get everything off the floor. Over the years, we’ve noticed one common issue: cardboard boxes sitting directly on concrete. They often absorb moisture, leading to mold growth, pest nesting, and damage to the items inside. A quick, inexpensive fix? Lay down a few 2" x 4" boards before stacking your boxes.
